I am thrilled to join the Abraham Wing family and I am so very excited to share my knowledge of music education and performance with your children.  My husband and I moved to Glens Falls this past summer from Utica, NY. I have been a Music Teacher and choral conductor for over 20 years.  I love watching a child discover the aesthetic beauty of music, and understand how music affects our daily lives and has the capability of understanding cultural differences.  Music classes will be based on the 4 standards for Music Education. The students will: Standard 1- create, perform and participate, Standard 2- know and use art materials and resources, Standard 3- respond to and analyze works of art, Standard 4- understand the cultural dimensions and contributions of the arts.  The after school music program will include choir, band and a percussion ensemble.  Again, I am very excited for a new school year and am looking forward to making music with your children.
